Virtual matchmaking on resource efficiency, renewable energy and circular fertilizer solutions

The Virtual Agrifood Matchmaking is an event organised by the European Commission under the framework of the second thematic session of the EU Code of Conduct on Responsible Food Business and Marketing Practices. The main topic is “Accelerating resource efficiency, renewable energy and scaling up of circular fertilizer solutions” and it addresses three main issues: the uptake of resource efficiency technologies, the deployment of renewable energy, and the scaling-up of innovative circular fertilizer production methods.

The Virtual Agrifood Matchmaking event aims to explore possible partnership and investment options, to link different Europe’s value chains, clusters and ecosystems, and to encourage networking and knowledge exchange among participants.

Several matchmaking sessions will be run on the 5th of December, followed by 10-minute debriefing sessions. The event is free of charge and the registration is open until the 2nd of December.
