As part of its mission to promote the use of bio-based fertilisers (BBFs), the WalNUT project is conducting a final round of on-site demonstration days across five sites in Europe. These events provide a valuable opportunity to showcase the practical application of BBFs, share key project results, and engage directly with farmers, advisors, and stakeholders.

In this concluding year of the project, selected pilot sites are hosting hands-on sessions where BBFs are applied in real field conditions. Each demonstration day features two core components:

Field Trial Visits

Farmers and advisors are invited to visit pilot sites to observe field trials firsthand and discuss the performance and potential of BBFs under real agricultural conditions.

Dynamic Usage Demonstrations

These demonstrations aim to deliver practical guidance on the effective use of BBFs and present the final results of the WalNUT project.

These events represent a significant step in bridging research and agricultural practice, supporting the transition to sustainable fertilisation strategies across Europe.
